Important Dates for the 2026 Martin County 4-H Livestock Show and Sale:
50th Anniversary
- January 8th: Selection & Care Workshop at the Extension Office at 6:00 p.m. (optional)
- January 9th: Registration form must be completed by 5:00 p.m.
- January 30th: Advertisement Catalog forms are due to the Martin County Extension Office by 5:00 p.m.
- February 8th: Animal On-Farm Date. All animals need to be on your farm by this date.
- February 11th: Animal Tag-In Date.
- March 30th: Showmanship Clinic at Martin County Farmer’s Market at 5:30 p.m.
- April 3rd: Lambs & Goats will be sheared and clipped
- April 8th: Animal Check-In at the Martin County Farmer’s Market from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. *Times are subject to change.
- April 9th: Martin County 4-H Livestock Show and Sale – Show begins at 12:00 p.m., Meal starts at 5:00 p.m., Awards begin at 6:15 p.m. and the Sale begins at 6:30 p.m. *Show schedule is subject to change.
- May 11th: Project Record Books and Thank You Letters can start being turned in.

4-H Project Record Books
**These are the updated Project Record Books.
All Martin County 4-H Livestock Exhibitors are required to submit a Project Record Book. This year we have given the option to complete this digitally or physically. It is acceptable to complete only the Livestock Project Record Books. If you would like your Project Record Book to be eligible for judging at the state level, the Official 4-H Record Book must be submitted. All 4-H exhibitors are only required to complete one of the following record books for their age group.

*Physical copies will be given on tag-in day if physical copies were selected on the livestock show application. Copies can also be picked up at the Martin County Cooperative Extension office. Please contact Katie Harris if you did not specify that your 4-H’er would like to receive a physical copy or need other arrangements to receive project record books.
