We are getting hard rains this afternoon in Raleigh. Some peanuts planted in late April that are now emerging may express injury from Valor in the next week or so if fields receive rains that cause soil and herbicide to splash on emerging peanuts. The attached images are from spring of 2021 and are symptomatic of injury from Valor. In my experience the injury is transient and peanuts recover quickly. The greatest risk of injury is when rain does not occur after planting until peanuts begin to emerge.
