Martin County 4-H Summer Fun 2019 will be kicking off soon! 4-H Summer programming provides safe, supervised, educational opportunities for the youth of Martin County! 4-H Programs help youth to develop life skills such as responsibility, teamwork, fairness, and more through hands-on activities. Martin County 4-H will be hosting Farm to Fork to Fun on July 16–18, for youth aged nine to fifteen. Youth will join us at the N.C. Cooperative Extension of Martin County office to learn about the foods we eat, from the farm to our plate! Youth will explore the world of agriculture and life science, learn about soils with Martin County Soil and Water Conservation, and enjoy a special treat with a visit to the Simply Natural Creamery in Ayden, North Carolina. The cost for all three days is $25.00.
